The notebook is hand painted and hand stitched and I have typed the words

on to the cover using my vintage typewriter called Dorothy. The cover is super tactile cotton paper made from textile waste. It feels so nice and softens with use -just like an old pair of jeans. Available with plain, lined or dot grid pages
The Pencils of Calm
A monochrome pencil set that is beautifully designed and will be a pleasure to use to fill in your journal or track your habits. they come in a set of 4, ready to give in a gift box. *Disclaimer - I am currently unable to find a suitable gift box that is quite how I’d like it. It does have a foam insert in the bottom of the box which is non recyclable. You may choose ‘no gift box’ at the checkout if you prefer and I will wrap the pencil set in recycled tissue paper for you instead.

Black wooden hexagonal 2B pencils, made from PEFC certified wood right here in the UK.
I use these everyday in my studio, they're really good quality and sharpen well and have a really good rubber on the end. and being just that little bit softer than a standard HB lead, they're really nice to write with too
Absolutely - l use fountain paper on this paper every day. it doesn’t feather or bleed. you can use a wide range of artist media too, including marker and brush pens, charcoal, pencil and even a light wash of watercolour ( I wouldn’t soak it)
Your notebook will be approx A5 in size at around 20 x 14 cm . with 80 pages of 140gsm recycled cartridge paper hand stitched inside a handpainted and typed cover of cotton paper that has been made from textile industry waste.
Materials
The cover of your personalised notebook will be individually typed on beautifully textured cotton paper that has been made from textile industry waste in a UK paper mill.
The pages inside are made of 140gsm (that’s lovely and thick) recycled cartridge paper that has been made from 100% UK Post consumer waste ( You know, the stuff you chuck in your paper recycling bin)
The pencils are made in the UK using PEFC certified wood *Disclaimer - I am currently unable to find a suitable gift box that is quite how I’d like it.
